The Tri-State Area’s epoxy experts.

TXR Epoxy installs floor coatings that hold up. Concrete gets prepped properly, coated properly, and left as a hard, non-porous surface that resists peeling, denting and cracking instead of lifting in a year. Certified, licensed and insured, out of West Long Branch, New Jersey.

What We Install

Four ways we finish a concrete floor.

Whether the slab is brand new, worn down, or already coated with something that failed, there is a route back to a floor that looks sharp and takes a beating.

Epoxy Floor Coatings

The core of what we do. A durable, non-porous finish bonded to properly prepped concrete, built to resist peeling, denting and cracking under real traffic.

Floor Repair

Chips, cracks and spalled patches filled and levelled before anything goes over the top. Coating a damaged slab without fixing it first is how floors fail early.

Concrete & Floor Resurfacing

Tired, stained or uneven concrete brought back to a clean, uniform surface, either as the finish itself or as the base for a coating.

Rubber Stone Coming soon

A textured, slip resistant surface for patios, pool decks and walkways. Joining the lineup shortly, so ask about timing if it is what your project calls for.

Why Epoxy

A floor that stops being a maintenance item.

Bare concrete is porous. It drinks oil, road salt and whatever else lands on it, then dusts and stains for the rest of its life. A properly installed epoxy coating changes that.

Non-porous surface

Oil, chemicals and water sit on top instead of soaking in, so spills wipe up rather than becoming permanent marks in the slab.

Resists peeling and cracking

Bonded to prepared concrete rather than painted onto it, which is the difference between a coating that lasts and one that flakes.

Takes a dent

Dropped tools, loaded pallets and jack stands. The finish is built for surfaces that get used, not just looked at.

Easy to clean

A seamless surface with nowhere for dirt to collect. Most floors need nothing more than a dust mop and the occasional wash.

Brighter space

A reflective finish bounces light around a garage, basement or shop, which usually means the room feels twice as usable.

Looks finished

A clean, uniform floor pulls a whole space together, whether it is a two car garage or a warehouse aisle.

How It Goes

Most of the work happens before the coating does.

The finish is the easy part. What decides whether a floor lasts is the preparation underneath it, which is where the majority of our time on site goes.

STEP 01

Walk the floor

We look at the slab, the moisture, the cracks and how the space actually gets used, then quote based on what is really there.

STEP 02

Prep and repair

The surface is mechanically prepped to open the concrete, and chips, cracks and low spots are filled and levelled.

STEP 03

Coat

Base and finish coats go down at the correct thickness, with the colour and texture agreed before we start.

STEP 04

Cure and hand back

The floor cures before it takes weight. We tell you exactly when to walk on it and when to drive on it, and clean up behind ourselves.

Where It Works

Homes, businesses and industrial floors.

The same system scales from a single garage bay to a warehouse floor. What changes is the prep, the thickness and how fast it has to be back in service.

Residential

Garages, basements, laundry rooms and workshops. The floors at home that take the most abuse and usually get the least attention.

Commercial

Showrooms, retail floors, kitchens, gyms and offices, where the floor is part of how the place presents itself to customers.

Industrial

Warehouses, shops and production floors carrying forklift traffic, pallet loads and chemical exposure day after day.
